Belfry, MT (October 30, 2024) – Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan released the identity of the man who died north of Belfry on Monday, October 28. He was identified as Samuel Woods, a 75-year-old man from Belfry.
One of the drivers’ cars caught fire at the scene of the collision, which occurred just before 2:30 p.m. on the right side of Highway 72. Woods was then discovered dead at the scene by MHP, who arrived soon after the collision.
