Great Falls, MT - Three Hospitalized in Truck Crash at 10th Ave & 23rd St

Great Falls, MT (July 3, 2024) – The Great Falls Police Department has released details about a crash on Monday, July 1, that occurred at the intersection of 10th Avenue South and 23rd Street.

The incident happened at about 12:15 p.m. and involved four vehicles, all headed west: a black Chrysler minivan, a white Chevrolet Impala, a semi with a flatbed trailer, and a maroon Honda minivan. The Impala, the semi, and the minivan stopped in traffic for a red light at 23rd Street. One of the vehicles then collided with another, causing a chain-reaction collision.

The Impala was pushed into the semi, and subsequently, the Chrysler and the Impala were pushed into the Honda. The drivers of the Chrysler, the Impala, and the Honda were taken by ambulance to Benefis Hospital. However, the victims’ identities have not yet been revealed, and an investigation is still ongoing in the interim.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Collisions in Montana

Liability determination is one of the myriad challenges that arise in the aftermath of a multi-vehicle accident in Montana, as it is characterized by the chaos and stress of multiple drivers and the potential for severe injuries in a single collision. To determine the cause of these multi-vehicle collisions, which frequently occur as a consequence of a sequence of events initiated by one or more drivers, it is imperative to conduct a meticulous examination of the evidence surrounding the accident and adhere to Montana’s traffic laws.

The overall stress and frustration of the afternoon are exacerbated by the general complexity and complications of these multi-driver accidents, which frequently result in a greater number of liable individuals and a more challenging legal response for any victims. This is in contrast to crashes that involve only one vehicle or fewer parties. Fortunately, victims in Montana are entitled to protect their legal rights following a collision, and they can do so with the assistance of a seasoned attorney.
