Missoula, MT (November 28, 2024) – Officers with the Missoula Police Department and troopers with the Montana Highway Patrol said that, on Monday morning, a woman was discovered deceased after an apparent vehicle collision.
Just after 11:30 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of East Broadway Street. They found a 37-year-old woman inside her car, deceased with visible facial injuries, a press release said. The vehicle also had external damage, with officers suspecting a potential hit-and-run. EMTs responded shortly thereafter, though it’s unknown if anybody was hurt. However, no further details were released, and an investigation is still ongoing in the interim.
We extend our deepest condolences to the deceased woman’s family. Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their loved ones at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Car Accidents in Montana
Navigating the aftermath of a multi-vehicle accident in Montana presents a variety of unique challenges, one of which is the determination of liability amid the chaos of multiple drivers and potentially severe injuries. A meticulous examination of the evidence surrounding the crash and adherence to Montana’s traffic laws is necessary to determine the cause of these multi-vehicle collisions, which frequently occur as a result of a sequence of events initiated by one or more drivers.
The general complexity and complications of these multi-driver accidents often result in a higher number of liable individuals and a more difficult legal response for any victims, which adds to the overall stress and frustration of the afternoon in comparison to crashes involving only one vehicle or fewer parties. Thankfully, victims in Montana are entitled to safeguard their legal rights after a collision and can do so with the help of a seasoned lawyer.
